Gymnocalycium intertextum из La Higuera – растение, столь же замечательное внешне, сколь загадочное с точки зрения систематики. Во-первых, в настоящее время данный таксон многими вообще не рассматривается как самостоятельный. Если Б.Шюц еще считает G. intertextum отдельным видом, то у Х.Тилля он уже входит в группу подвидов G. bodenbenderianum: Gymnocalycium bodenbenderianum ssp. intertextum (Backeberg ex H. Till) H. Till 1993. При этом G. intertextum sensu Shuetz и G. bodenbenderianum sensu H.Till – это G.ochoterenae sensu Hunt… Но и это еще не всё! Пытаясь отыскать более подробные сведения об этом растении в интернете, вы среди прочих вариантов непременно наткнетесь на сочетание “Gymnocalycium intertextum P 81 La Higuera”. Не верьте глазам своим! Ибо, если это растение с полевым номером Йорга и Бригитты Пильц – Р 81, – то оно происходит из месторождения, расположенного южнее Villa de Soto, Cordoba, Argentina 700-800m. А Гимнокалициуму интертекстум из La Higuera соответствует растение с полевым номером Виктора Гапона: Gymnocalycium intertextum VG 322, Higuera, Cordoba, 600m. Фотография природника VG 322, опубликованная на сайте Кактус-Клуба, разительно отличается от изображений G. intertextum P 81, которые можно найти во Всемирной паутине. Последние имеют гораздо более мощные колючки. Примерно такие, как у этого великолепного растения из коллекции Вячеслава Филиппова, представленного ниже.

To begin with, this taxon is currently not considered as a separate one by many people. Although B. Shuetz used to treat G. intertextum as a good species, it is now included in the group of G. bodenbenderianum subspecies by H.Till: Gymnocalycium bodenbenderianum ssp. intertextum (Backeberg ex H. Till) H. Till 1993. We also have to remind you that G. intertextum sensu Shuetz and G. bodenbenderianum sensu H.Till is G. ochoterenae sensu Hunt… And that is not all! If you try to find out more details concerning this plant on the Web, you will most probably come across the combination “Gymnocalycium intertextum P 81 La Higuera”, too. You’ll make the best choice if you wholly ignore it! Because if it is the plant marked with the field number of Jörg and Brigitte Piltz, G. intertextum P 81, its locality is situated to the South of Villa de Soto, Cordoba, Argentina, 700-800m. As for G. intertextum from La Hihuera, there is a plant found by Victor Gapon, and it has a different field number – Gymnocalycium intertextum VG 322 (Higuera, Cordoba, 600m). The Kaktus-Klub pic of VG 322 taken in the wild is looking strikingly different from the images of G. intertextum P 81 available on the Web. The latter ones have much stronger spines which resemble the spines of that amazing plant belonging to Vyacheslav Philippov (Moscow, Russia).
